Work

I want to build robust systems that provide value to society and stand the test of time. My expertise and interest is in core infrastructure services, queueing theory, and performance engineering; from complex multi-system dynamics to fleet-sized scaling problems all the way down to CPU instruction pipelining and cache-line optimizations. I'm a self-learner that invests in matacognition and cross-disciplinary skills. To the extent that I have a specialization, I would characterize it as robust systems with low latency and high throughput.

• Work Experience

I've worked at Amazon Web Services, building AWS CloudTrail and security infrastructure at AWS Security; Google[x] Project Wing, building autonomous flying airplanes; Stripe, building money movement, money storage, and economic infrastructure primitives for the internet; Toyota's Research Institute, working on static analysis of safety-critical code; and a few startups including Card Kingdom.
